1. Overview
Food additives scanner is a mobile application that helps users understand ingredient labels by identifying food additives. The app does not create accounts and does not require personal information to function.
We are committed to privacy and to minimizing data collection. All communication is encrypted, and saved scans remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to export a backup.
2. Information We Collect

The app does not require users to provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Account credentials
- Payment card information
- Precise location
- Health data
- Images intended to identify people
The app does not create user accounts.
Data you provide
The app processes user-provided content to provide additive analysis:

The app does not require direct personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or account credentials. Some technical data may be processed by third-party SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads, as described below.
3. How Data Is Used
Ingredient text or images are used solely to identify food additives and display results.
Saved scans remain on your device unless you delete them.
Backups generated by the app are stored only where you save them.
If the app displays external websites (e.g., additive information pages), those sites may use cookies, analytics, or advertising technologies according to their own privacy policies.
4. Advertising and consent
The app displays advertising through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads.
Google Mobile Ads may collect and share data such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic information. This data may be used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
Where required, the app shows a consent form that allows users to manage advertising and privacy choices. Users can update their consent choices from the app settings where available.
Premium subscribers do not see ads in the app. If ads are removed through a Premium subscription, advertising SDK requests are not used for showing ads in normal app use.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Data may be transmitted securely for functional reasons, such as generating additive analysis results, processing optional label/product photos, or loading external web content.
Advertising-related data may be collected and shared by Google Mobile Ads according to Google’s advertising, measurement, fraud-prevention, security, and compliance practices.
If the app opens external websites, those websites may use cookies, analytics, or advertising technologies according to their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
- Ingredient text used for analysis is not stored long-term by the app server.
- Optional product or label photos uploaded for analysis are processed temporarily and deleted after analysis according to the server cleanup policy.
- Saved labels and scan history remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them or clears app data.
- Backups remain wherever the user chooses to save them.
- Temporary technical logs may exist for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and service reliability.
- Advertising-related data is handled according to Google Mobile Ads policies and user consent choices.
7. Security
- All network communication uses encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS)
- The app does not transmit unencrypted user content
- We minimize the amount of data collected and processed
8. Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Choices and Data Deletion
Users can:
- Delete saved labels and scan history in the app where those options are available.
- Clear app data from Android system settings.
- Choose whether to upload product or label photos for analysis.
- Manage advertising consent/privacy choices where available in the app.
- Reset or delete the Android Advertising ID from Android system settings where supported.

Because the app does not create user accounts, some requests may be limited if the data cannot be technically linked to an identifiable user or has already been automatically deleted.
